Every journey comes with questions - and I love that! Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common things families and readers ask about me, my books, and Lenny the Lizard’s Backyard Adventures. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out - I’d be so happy to connect with you.

Lenny’s stories are designed for young readers (ages 4–8) but are great for family read-aloud time too.

Yes. Each book includes gentle faith lessons, Bible verses, and devotion-style reflections woven into the adventures.

Lenny’s adventures are inspired by the real critters in our backyard in Cypress, Texas - including lizards, birds, and other creatures that sparked the stories.
4
Do I need to read the books in order?
Nope! Each story stands on its own, but together they build a fun, faith-filled world with recurring friends and lessons.
5

6
Do you visit schools, churches, or libraries?
Yes, I’d love to! Please reach out on the Contact page for school visits, storytime events, or church programs.
7
How can I support your work?
Sharing the books with your family, leaving reviews, or joining my newsletter helps spread Lenny’s message of faith and kindness.
8
Do you use AI to create your books?
The short answer: no, AI does not create my stories.
The world of Lenny the Lizard’s Backyard Adventures is born out of my own backyard, my family, and my faith. The ideas, the characters, and the heart of the message come from me — inspired by God’s Word and the life we live.
I do sometimes use modern tools, including AI, the same way writers use spell check, editors, or design programs — to help brainstorm, organize, or polish words along the way. But the storytelling, the faith lessons, and the creative vision are entirely mine.
At the end of the day, I see writing as a calling. Lenny’s stories are prayerfully written to plant seeds of faith, spark joy, and remind children of God’s love in their everyday lives. That’s something no tool could ever replace.
