Welcome to Lenny’s Backyard
“Step into the backyard with Lenny and discover God’s love in the little things.”
Hello, friends! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. This little corner of the internet is where faith, imagination, and backyard adventure come together - and it all begins with one tiny lizard.
Meet Lenny the Lizard. He’s curious, kind, and full of wonder. His shiny scales shimmer in the sunlight, reminding him (and us!) of Joseph’s special coat in the Bible—a gift that showed love and promise. Through his adventures in the garden, Lenny learns big Bible truths in small, everyday ways.
That’s what this space is all about. Here you’ll find:
Gentle devotionals for families and little ones
Whimsical stories of Lenny’s adventures with his friends (Grandma Lizard, Milo the Ladybug, Flutter the Butterfly, and Uncle Rumble)
Free activities like coloring pages and printables
Every page in Lenny’s world is carefully crafted—words, pictures, and lessons—all with the hope that children will see themselves wrapped in God’s love. My prayer is that this blog and book series will be a place of joy, peace, and inspiration for your family.
So, whether you’re reading before bedtime, at the kitchen table, or during Sunday school, I invite you to step into the backyard with Lenny. His little world is filled with friendship, faith, and the gentle reminders we all need: God loves you, God has a plan for you, and His love covers you every day.
Thank you for joining me here at the very beginning of this journey. Lenny’s backyard adventures are just beginning—and I’d be honored if you came along for the ride.
With love and blessings,
Janet B. Carr
